Cowbridge Referral Clinic
From September 2026, we at HeartVets will be welcoming patients to our brand-new dedicated cardiology referral centre in the beautiful town of Cowbridge, South Wales.
Our purpose-built clinic will be led by Dave Dickson, one of our RCVS Specialist Cardiologists, providing expert care for patients with heart and respiratory disease.
Designed with both clients and patients in mind, the clinic offers a calm, welcoming environment alongside state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, including cardiac ultrasound, digital ECG, digital radiography, bronchoscopy, blood pressure monitoring, and in-house blood testing.
We’ll also continue to work with the Veterinary Cardiovascular Society to provide breed screening clinics.

How it started...
Increasing access to cardiology care
Alongside our new referral centre, we’ll continue to offer our well-established visiting cardiology service to practices across Gloucestershire, the Southwest of England, and Wales. By combining both visiting services and this new dedicated centre, we aim to provide even greater support for veterinary practices, their clients, and their patients.
This marks an exciting new chapter for HeartVets, allowing us to build on our established visiting service while continuing to provide the exceptional cardiology care that has always been at the heart of what we do.
