We at HeartVets started welcoming patients on Monday 7th September 2026 to our brand-new dedicated cardiology referral centre in the beautiful town of Cowbridge, South Wales.
Our purpose-built clinic is led by Dave Dickson, one of our RCVS Specialist Cardiologists, providing expert care for patients with heart and respiratory disease.
Designed with both clients and patients in mind, the clinic offers a calm, welcoming environment alongside state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, including cardiac ultrasound, digital ECG, digital radiography, bronchoscopy, blood pressure monitoring, and in-house blood testing.

We’ll also continue to work with the Veterinary Cardiovascular Society to provide breed screening clinics.

Sat Nav will take you to Junction 34, which will get you to us - but exiting from Junction 35 or 33 is an easier route as it avoids lanes.
From the M4 eastbound
- Exit at junction 35 and take the 1st exit onto A473
- At the next roundabout, take the third exit onto Felindre Road
- Continue along this road for approximately 4 miles
- At the T junction, turn left onto A48 towards Cowbridge
- At the first roundabout, take the 2nd exit and go straight across continuing along the Cowbridge Bypass / A48, past the Esso fuel station
- Continue straight up the hill, and at the very top you will turn left into the entrance of Pant Wilkin Estate.
From the M4 westbound
- Exit at junction 33 and take the 1st exit for Cardiff (A4232)
- Take the 1st exit/slip road off the A4232 signposted A48 towards Cowbridge
- Take the 4th exit off the roundabout and follow signs for Cowbridge for about 6 miles going through St Nicholas and Bonvilston.
- You’ll see a large television mast on the right-hand side. Take the 2nd turning right after the mast to Pant Wilkin Estate.
Once on the drive, head straight on following signs to Pant Wilkin Estate.
At the bottom of the steep hill there is left hand bend. Go through the stone gates straight ahead and along the tree-lined drive.
HeartVets is at the bottom of this drive, just past the wooden chalets.
